From the original specification – an intention to show two versions of a poem side by side – the current digital edition has passed through many changes, both in the interface itself and in the metadata driving it. The current code-base shows the wear and tear of the iterative process, and there are still bugs. Nevertheless, we do have a working prototype that is, by and large, satisfactory and ready for publication. Our hope is that users will offer feedback that we can integrate into a production version.
